What should I do with the bouncy castle if it rains?
We understand that British weather can be unpredictable. That's why most of our bouncy castles come equipped with a rain cover, so the fun doesn't have to stop even in light rain! However, in more challenging weather conditions, you may want to follow these tips:
- We recommend asking the children to exit the inflatable. Safety is paramount, and it's best not to take any chances when it comes to extreme weather. Please refrain from switching off the bouncy castle at the electricity mains. Leaving the inflatable inflated helps prevent water from gathering inside. Our electrical extension leads are splash-proof, and the blowers are water-protected.
- Once the rain has subsided, wipe down the bouncy castle before allowing the children back on. This helps to prevent any potential accidents and ensures that the children can continue to enjoy the bouncy castle safely and comfortably.
How much space do I need?
We have bouncy castles of all shapes and sizes, so please check individual sizes to make sure you have enough space. We will also need a few feet around the bouncy castle to allow for blowers and for proper set-up. Please also ensure we have enough height above the bouncy castle, considering factors such as ceilings, branches or overhead cables.
How do I pay?
You can pay via bank transfer or can pay us cash on the day. Please note that we won't set up the bouncy castle until payment has been received.
How do I avoid damaging bouncy castles and inflatables?
Keep the bouncy castle away from any open flames, including barbecues and cigarettes. Do not allow anyone on the bouncy castle with have any sharp objects, including keys, jewellery and glasses. Do also not allow anything messy on the inflatable, including face paint, food, drinks, silly string or party popper. Do not allow animals on or near the bouncy castle. Follow proper usage instructions - no climbing on the sides or roof. Take shoes off before you go on the unit.
How do I prepare the area for bouncy castle hire?
Please make sure that you have a flat area for us to site the bouncy castle, with adequate space. Clear this area of any mess and rubbish, including animal waste. Ensure we have enough access to deliver the inflatable on a sack truck and that there is an adult available when we arrive to deliver and collect the unit.
What are the safety rules inside a bouncy castle?
Do not climb on the sides or the roof of the bouncy castle. Stick to the maximum occupancy instructions provided. Do not somersault. Keep children of a similar size on the inflatable - don't allow bigger children or adults to bounce alongside smaller children. Do not collide into each other on the bouncy castle.
What happens if the bouncy castle is dirty or damaged upon collection?
A cleaning fee will be levied if the bouncy castle is dirty, and a repair fee will be levied if it is damaged. We may also claim for lost income if the damage results in the cancellation of later bookings. We will discuss this with you on arrival.
Do you deliver and set up the inflatable?
Our bouncy castles and inflatables are only ever set up by our trained and experienced team.
Do you work at fetes, funfairs and other big events?
We're always happy to bring the fun to big events such as fetes and funfairs, as well as smaller private parties.
Do you operate in winter?
Although you may need an indoor hire in winter - especially if there are strong winds - we are happy to work throughout the year.
Do I need access to a power outlet?
Yes, we will need to be able to access an electricity supply to power the blower and fans. If this will be an issue at your event, please let us know and we will look into alternative solutions with you, such as generators.
Can you take the bouncy castle up and down steps?
A few small steps shouldn't be a problem, but please speak with us beforehand.
Do you store my personal information when I book a bouncy castle?
Yes, we collect basic details like your name, contact information, and IP address when you make an enquiry or booking. This is used solely to provide our services and to meet legal requirements like tax and insurance.
Will my personal data be shared with anyone else?
We never sell your data. Only our data protection officer and authorised staff have access, and we may need to share data with trusted service providers or for legal reasons like insurance claims.
Can I see or delete the information you have about me?
Absolutely. You can request a copy of your stored data at any time. If we no longer need it for tax or insurance purposes, we’ll delete or anonymise it as requested.
What is your refund policy?
If full payment is made in advance of the hire, a refund can be processed 2 weeks from the date of hire (14 days no less). For a deposit of 50% and under, a refund can be requested 4 weeks prior to hire date (28 days no less)
How many people are allowed in a bouncy castle at one time?
Each bouncy castle has different occupancy limits, so this depends on the unit you choose. Typically, bigger bouncy castles such as our adult bouncy castles can cope with more people at one time than smaller units, such as children's bouncy castles.
